Payment Methods for Tourist Services
Since most of our clients book tours and additional services from outside Armenia, while our company is legally registered in Yerevan, we offer three key payment methods for tourist services booked through us.
- Clients can receive booking confirmation and all required documents without making an advance payment. The final settlement is made upon arrival in Armenia. This option is ideal for last-minute tours when only 2-3 days remain before departure, and there is a risk that the payment may not reach our account before the client’s arrival.
- A partial prepayment, usually not exceeding 20% of the total cost, serves as confirmation of the client’s intention to use the service. This payment method is applied to services where the tour operator and service provider would incur losses if the service is not fulfilled. In such cases, the tour operator specifies the conditions under which the prepayment is non-refundable, as well as cancellation terms without penalties. This typically applies to private tours and is mandatory for group trips with guaranteed departures.
- Full prepayment of 100% of the booked tourist services. If a client does not choose this option voluntarily, it may still be required for services where providers demand full payment in advance and impose penalties for no-shows. This is common for popular hotels and resorts during peak seasons. Full prepayment may also be required for corporate and large individual groups, where organizing the trip involves significant expenses.
Any additional services requested after arrival, beyond the pre-approved list, can be paid for during the tour or upon its completion. Payment is based on a guarantee letter until the service provision and payment agreement is signed.
