Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan

• Arrival to «Zvartnots» International Airport. Our guide will meet you at the airport.
• Transfer to the hotel in Yerevan. Free time.

Day 2: Yerevan – City tour – Matenadaran – Tsitsernakaberd Memorial – Armenian Genocide Museum

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Sightseeing tour of the city of Yerevan – the ancient capital of Armenia, which is 29 years older than Rome.
• Tour itinerary: “Mother Armenia” monument – from where you can see an excellent view of the whole city, the Opera House, Republic Square, the “Cascade” architectural complex, the Cafesjian Museum of Modern Art, the monument to the hero of the Armenian epic “Sasuntsi David”.
• Excursion to Matenadaran – the pride of Armenian culture, the world’s largest repository of ancient manuscripts and books.
• Lunch in Yerevan (Traditional Armenian Restaurant).
• Visit to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial and the Museum of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
• Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 2: Yerevan — Hripsime — Echmiadzin — Zvartnots — Ararat «Noah» Brandy Factory — Yerevan
[Tour duration: 8 hours / 70 km]

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Trip to Echmiadzin town. Visiting the Church of St. Hripsime (7th century). The church was built in 618 on the site of an ancient pagan temple, where Saint Hripsime had been tortured and killed.
• Excursion to Echmiadzin Cathedral (4th century) — the center of Armenian Apostolic Church. This is one of the oldest Christian churches in the world, the residence of the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians. (Holy mass is only held on Sunday)
• Visit to the Museum “Treasury of Etchmiadzin”, where unique treasures are presented. One of the most famous is the Spear of Longinus, with which Christ was pierced, and the relics of Noah’s Ark.
• Visit the beautiful and majestic ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral (9th century) — temple of Vigil Forces, Heavenly Angels Church.
• Lunch in Yerevan (Traditional Armenian Restaurant).
• Visit to Ararat «Noah» Brandy Factory — tour and cognac tasting.
• Return to Yerevan. Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 3: Yerevan — Garni — Geghard — Symphony of Stones — Demonstration baking «lavash» — Yerevan

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Trip to Garni — Symphony of Armenian architecture. It is the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia. Built in the Hellenistic style in the 1st century by the Armenian King Trdat I and dedicated to the God of the Sun Mithras.
• Lunch at the restaurant above the gorge of the Azat river and demonstration baking «lavash» — traditional Armenian bread in the tonir (oven in the ground).
• Visiting the monastery Geghard (12 – 13th centuries). It is a unique monastery complex, where the temple is completely carved in the rock. The name «Geghard» literally «the monastery of the spear» is due to the fact that in this place Christian relic — the spear, which, according to tradition, a Roman soldier had pierced the crucified Jesus with was kept (now kept in the Museum of Echmiadzin).
• Visit to the Symphony of Stones. The object is a gorge, the rocks of which consist of huge basalt pillars. Their vertical arrangement is very reminiscent of organ pipes, which is why the monument got its name.
• Return to Yerevan. Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 4: Yerevan — Khor Virap — «Bird Cave» — wine tasting in the village «Areni» — Noravank — Zorac Karer — Goris
[Tour duration: 10 hours / 300 km]

• Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel.
• Tour to Khor Virap monastery (literally translated as «deep dungeon») (7 – 17th centuries). You will see the underground pit where the first Patriarch of Armenian Apostolic Church St. Grigor Lusavorich (Saint Gregory the Illuminator) languished in prison for 13 years. The monastery is located 50 km away from Yerevan on the Armenian — Turkish border. You will enjoy the wonderful view of the Biblical Mount Ararat.
• A trip to the karst caves in Areni, also known as the «Bird’s Cave», where a 5500 year-old leather shoe was found.
• Lunch in the village of Areni, where wines are produced from local grape varieties (wine tasting).
• Trip to Noravank monastery (9 – 13th centuries) is one of the most magnificent medieval monuments of Armenia, located on the ledge of narrow winding gorge with rare red rocks. This is truly a masterpiece of Armenian architecture.
• A trip to Zorats Karer, the ancient Observatory (Armenian Karahunj), which is 7000 years old. The phrase « Zorats Karer» is literally translated from Armenian as «an army of stones». Armenian Karahunj has similarities with English Stonehenge.
• Trip to Goris. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Goris — Khndzoresk — Tatev — Shaki — Jermuk

• Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel.
• A visit to the village of Khndzoresk, which is famous for its ancient cave dwellings on the hillside. «Dead city» of the living descendants holds many unsolved mysteries. In Khndzoresk there is a winging bridge, which runs across a deep and incredibly beautiful canyon, with its cliffs and caves.
• Tour of Tatev monastery — unique monument of Armenian architecture built in the 9th century. Tatev without exaggeration can be considered one of the most beautiful and amazing places on the Planet. By the monastery there is the longest reverse ropeway in the world (5752 m), ranked in the Guinness Book of Records.
• Lunch in a traditional Armenian restaurant.
• Trip to the Shaki waterfall, which is considered one of the most beautiful and picturesque waterfalls in Armenia.
• Visit to the city of Jermuk – a hydro-healing and climatic resort (2080 m above sea level), where the world-famous mineral table water “Jermuk” is produced.
• Visiting Jermuk waterfall and Galleries of mineral waters, where you can drink warm mineral water. Gallery of mineral water —  a business card and symbol of the town, built in the classic style of Armenian architecture.
• Dinner and overnight in Jermuk.

Day 6: Selim — Mikaelyan Cheese Factory — Noratuz — «Tsaghkunk» Restaurant — Sevan — Dilijan

• Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel.
• A trip to the Selim Caravan – Sarai (inn) (2410 m above sea level), which was built along the Vardenyats mountain pass in 1332 to accommodate tired travelers and their animals following the Silk Road from East Asia to the Mediterranean and back.
• Visit to the Mikaelyan family farm, where exclusive types of cheese are obtained on the basis of their own dairy production – more than 10 different types. Among them are wine, cognac, nut and many other interesting combinations (Tasting of delicious cheeses with Armenian wine).
• Excursion to the ancient settlement of Noratus, which is famous for its large ancient cemetery, where more than 900 elegantly ornamented khachkars (cross-stones) have been preserved, where each khachkar differs from the others in processing technique, pattern shape and compositional features.
• Visit to the restaurant «Tsaghkunk» which won a place in the top ten best restaurants in the world in 2021 according to the famous Forbes magazine. A family restaurant with a special relaxing atmosphere where original home-made wines await you, and if you wish, the chef will give you a master class on preparing Armenian dishes using the freshest local ingredients: fish, vegetables and fruits, herbs and spices, as well as lavash and several types of cheese.
• Drive to Lake Sevan, which is the pearl of Armenia and the largest freshwater basin in Eurasia and the second largest Alpine lake in the world. Sevan is situated at an altitude of 1900 meters above sea level.
• Visit to Sevanavank Monastery (9th century).
• A trip to the greenest part of Armenia – the city of Dilijan, which is famous for its clean air and lush forests. Stop at the bronze monument to the heroes of the film “Mimino”.
• Dinner and overnight in Dilijan.

Day 7: Haghartsin — Khachkar Workshop of  Vanadzor(A Hidden Treasure) —  Sanahin — Haghpat

• Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel.
• Visiting a beautiful monastery — Haghartsin (12th century), hidden between wooded hills and cliffs.
• A trip to Vanadzor — the third-largest city in Armenia, a beautiful and historically significant place surrounded by forests and high mountains.
• Visit the workshop of one of the few remaining contemporary masters of khachkars — Bogdan Ovanisyan. Here, the ancient Armenian art comes alive before your eyes: stone carving transforms into delicate patterns, symbols of faith and memory. Bogdan is not just a sculptor but a true guardian of tradition. He will gladly introduce you to the world of khachkars, share stories about his craft, sing rare Armenian folk songs, and give you unforgettable impressions.
• Lunch in a traditional Armenian restaurant.
• Tour to Sanahin monastery —  religious and cultural center during the reign of Kyurikids (10 – 12 century).
• Visiting Haghpat Monastery (10th century). It is believed that the monastery is the holy water, which has healing properties and helps people with heart disease.
• Dinner and overnight in Haghpat.

Day 8: Tbilisi City — tour

• Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel.
• Crossing the Armenian /Georgian border at the Bagratashen checkpoint.
• City tour of Tbilisi — the ancient capital of Georgia.
• A trip to the Sioni Cathedral and the Metekhi Monastery, built on the rocky bank of the Kura River in the 13th century.
• Visiting Anchiskhati — the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, the oldest surviving church in Tbilisi.
• Excursion round Sameba, the highest cathedral in Caucasus.
• Lunch in Tbilisi (Traditional Georgian Restaurant)
• Visit to the fortress of Narikala. You will enjoy a beautiful view from the fortress.
• Visiting sulfur baths, which, according to legend, were found during hunting by Vakhtang Gorgasali, the king of Iberia.
• Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 9: Tbilisi — Mtskheta — Jvari — Tbilisi

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Excursion to Mtskheta — the first capital of the ancient Eastern Georgian kingdom of Iberia from the 3rd c. BC to V in. Here the Georgians adopted Christianity in 337 AD.
• Visit to the monastery of Jvari (6th century). A beautiful landscape opening from the temple and overlooking the confluence of the two major rivers Aragvi and Mktvari.
• Return to Tbilisi. Experience the taste of Georgia with a hands-on cooking masterclass in Tbilisi! Under the guidance of a local chef, you’ll learn how to craft two of the country’s most beloved dishes — juicy khinkali and delicious Imeretian khachapuri. Day 10: Tbilisi — Telavi — Tsinandali — Tasting the Region’s Legendary Kakhetian Wines — Bodbe — Tbilisi

Day 11: Tbilisi — Ananuri — Kazbegi — Gergeti Sameba — Tbilisi

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• A trip to Ananuri, a fortress by the Aragvi River, which never ceases to excite people’s imagination.
• Excursion to Mount Kazbegi (the highest point is 5047 m). You will cross the Jvari pass (2400 m above sea level).
• Visit to the church of Gergeti Sameba (Holy Trinity), which is beautifully located at the foot of the mountain Kazbeg, on a hill 2170 meters high. The road to the church will take about 2 hours.
• Lunch (Traditional Georgian Restaurant).
• Return to Tbilisi. Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 12: Tbilisi — Gori — Uplistsikhe  — Borjomi

• Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel.
• Trip to the city of Gori — the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Visiting the Stalin House — Museum is acquaintance with the things belonging to Stalin, including a part of his furniture from his study rooms, gifts to Stalin. The museum features Stalin’s personal railroad car-carriage.
• Lunch (Traditional Georgian Restaurant).
• A visit to Uplistsikhe, where the ancient city is carved directly into the rock, allows you to immerse yourself in the history and culture of Georgia. Day 13: Borjomi — Rabati — Vardzia — Borjomi 

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• A sightseeing tour of the famous balneological resort town of Borjomi. Visiting the central park and tasting mineral water from the spring.
• Tour of the complex Rabat, which in former times was the palace of the rulers of Akhaltsikhe. Rabat is one big city in the city. In addition to historical fortresses, a tower, churches, cells and a mosque, there are also modern institutions of various types.
• Lunch (Traditional Georgian Restaurant).
• A trip to the cave city of Vardzia (rose castle). This is one of the significant monuments of the ancient material culture of Georgia. For many tens of meters along the banks of the Kura stretch sheer cliffs, where numerous buildings of cultural and secular purpose carved. The tuff layer, in which the caves are cut, is located in the middle belt of the cliff, which made them nearly impregnable. The construction of this complex and the monastery was started under the reign of Tsar George III (1156 – 1184) and completed in the reign of his daughter – Queen Tamara (1184 – 1213).
