Customs Rules for Travelers to Armenia
Duty-Free Import
Travelers entering Armenia are allowed to bring the following items without paying customs duties:

Tobacco products: up to 200 cigarettes (or equivalent)

Alcoholic beverages: up to 2 liters

Perfume: reasonable personal use amount

Personal belongings and goods: up to USD 500
A customs declaration, completed upon arrival, should be kept by the passenger.
Prohibited and Restricted Items
The following items cannot be imported or exported without special permission from the relevant Armenian authorities:

Antiques, including jewelry, coins, manuscripts, and other works of art or historical value

Narcotic and psychotropic substances

Pornographic materials
-
Toxic or explosive substances

Weapons and ammunition (except hunting weapons, which require prior permission from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia)
Traveling by Car
Travelers entering Armenia by car are required to:

Pay a road use fee (road tax), which depends on the vehicle type and duration of stay, usually around AMD 1,000–5,000
-
Obtain motor third-party liability insurance (OSAGO/MTPL) valid for the entire period of travel in Armenia
These payments are typically arranged at the Armenian border.
Pets
Travelers bringing pets must have a veterinary certificate in the prescribed format, confirming vaccinations and overall health.
Import and Export of Currency

There are no restrictions on foreign currency, but amounts exceeding USD 10,000 (or equivalent) must be declared at the border

The import or export of Armenian dram (AMD) in reasonable amounts is allowed without declaration
